Flower Gardening Can Lead to a Dozen Roses, Which Can Lead to Romance!

Flower gardening is perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing of all the different types of gardening. Some say love is like a river...and that river becomes the rose. The lyrics might be a bit different in the world of flower gardening, but the message is the same. The key to a woman's heart is often in the classic petals of a beautiful rose. Therefore, flower gardening shouldn't just be for women! It can be for everyone.

It is often frustrating to think of the fact that men aren't supposed to enjoy flowers. Here are these absolutely amazing works of nature, and men are supposed to act as if they don't notice. Fragile as a rose is no throwaway metaphor, and flower gardeners know it. One thing roses don't always like are cold climates. To protect tree roses in these colder climates, sink four stakes in a square shape around each stem, and then wrap burlap or another thick material around the stakes. Looks like the stakes have just been raised! Next, fill the space around the trunk with leaves from the pile that has just been raked. Roses can be high maintenance, as most beautiful things are. They need their own space without competition from trees, shrubs, or other permanent plants.
